		<description>Baby steps are good, but climate change is so far advanced at this point that I&#039;m not sure that kicking the plastic water bottle habit is really going to make that much difference. Something that would make a far bigger impact in reducing carbon emissions, preserving fresh water sources, and reducing soil erosion is eating significantly less industrially farmed meat. Even cutting meat out one day a week has the same impact as eating entirely locally, all the time.

But switching to a less meat-based diet is probably something most people don&#039;t want to consider.</description>

		<description>This is very informative. Nice article. It&#039;s true that we have to quadruple our conservation efforts if we&#039;re to allow the future generations to experience what it&#039;s like right now. It all depends on the now and what we do to protect it.</description>
