Energy Consultants Enjoy Stimulus

The federal stimulus package, laden with renewable energy boosts, is spurring on a new niche in the solar industry: energy consulting. Billions of federal dollars will soon be floating around like carrots in front of solar companies as stimulus-based programs kick into action. Energy consulting firms want to be there to help utilities and other companies rake in and manage those dollars.
Energy consulting firms, and many throughout the solar industry, find appeal not just in this stimulus package, but in the long-term commitment to renewable energy put forth by the Obama administration. In a weak economy as we have now, the general consensus at the policy level is that you need to help consumers save money so that they can turn around a spend it. The renewable energy industry represents a positive way to do that.
Enter companies such as Sunrise Solar, which are finding a new place in the growing solar industry. This San Antonio based solar marketing firm has expanded by creating an energy resources consulting division. With a few thousand other solar consulting firms around the world, Sunrise Solar is also creating a new movement among the renewable industries. It would seem that the more funding floating around, the harder it becomes to decipher law and policy, not to mention compete efficiently for the money in an industry rife with competition, some of it struggling to weather a recession.
Sunrise Solar, for one, plans to benefit from that competition by helping solar companies succeed in identifying financial resources and managing solar projects.
Sunrise Solar also markets solar products, including a solar light brick, solar-cell roof, and solar cell phone chargers.
