What’s a Home Solar Assessment?
A home solar assessment consists of a meet and walkthrough with a licensed solar installer. If you choose, the installer will come to your home and inspect your roof for its solar potential. A solar estimate provides valuable information for you to keep, including:
- How much you can save by installing solar PV panels
- How many panels you need to reduce your energy bills
- Whether your home receives enough direct sunlight to make solar worthwhile
- Your local rebates, incentives or tax credits that make solar panels affordable
- Expected annual savings on heating and cooling costs
This information is for your own knowledge, which we hope to expand by putting you in touch with a local solar expert. Solar is fast becoming cost-effective, and is on track to compete with conventional forms of power very soon. The more you know about your home’s solar potential, the more you can save on clean energy.
