Solar Night Garden Lights Up Jerusalem
Jerusalem is a city historically divided by religion and politics. An epicenter of Western culture and thought, it is therefore as oft divided as Protestant and Catholic, Jew and Muslim. Fortunately, as is the wonder of human nature and creativity, such divisions breed even stronger inspirations for unity.

It is a fact evidenced by the fusion of nature and technology that comprised the solar-powered Night Garden on display recently at the Light in Jerusalem Festival. The garden was made of steel wires, hundreds of low-watt LED lights and laser-cut panels. Powered by a solar system putting out 720 Watts per hour, the garden of neon flowers opened and closed throughout the night, dazzling and illuminating passersby during the festival.
