Valley Solar Helps Make Sacramento History
The capital of California just joined the rest of the state on the solar bandwagon. With 9 on F, Sacramento now has its first LEED-certified housing development. An advanced solar electric system helped 9 on F earn the accreditation. By using the 1.56 kilowatt system over a 25 year lifespan, 9 on F does the equivalent of planting nearly one acre of trees and offsetting more than 100,000 pounds of carbon dioxide.
Designed and installed by Valley Solar, Inc., the residential project’s silicon hybrid Sanyo panels are among the most efficient in the industry, outperforming conventional silicon panels. Valley Solar chose 2500-watt, PV Powered inverters to complete the system. Popular in the California market, these inverters handle high temperatures and receive top marks for efficiency.
Certified by CalFinder Solar, Valley Solar is recognized for solar power installations custom designed to supply the most efficient power for a maximum length of time. Valley Solar operates around the philosophy that every customer is unique, and high quality end products should always meet customer expectations. According to Valley Solar, 9 on F represents the future of housing for the Sacramento area - energy efficient, good for the environment, and quality housing for its residents.
