We should come up with easy to install solar powered kits for our home. This is one way of promoting the use of solar power.

We installed a solar air heater this past November on the south wall of our home.

Very simple devices, really; significantly less expensive and complex than solar PV panels.

We've written about our experiences with the solar air heater we purchased and installed here on our home blog for anyone interested to learn more about these great products that generate supplemental heat for a home when the sun is out without generating any polluting emmissions or consuming any non-renewable energy resources like natural gas or home heating oil.
