		<description>I like that idea James.  A rotating battery stock would provide safety and check points for the batteries to ensure no bomb-like capability.  And, since the companies are talking about leasing the batteries anyway, well, it could turn into a modernized convenience store eh?  Instead of stopping to refuel, there is a certified person who comes out and changes your battery, kind of like the old days (40&#039;s).  But that could get complicated.

The car it is in will draw 12KW/HR for 4 hours then need recharge. That&#039;s 48,000 watts input for  1 hour  to recharge. A ten min. recharge would require 6 times that rate of charge. That&#039;s substation size charging stations.
Volts times amps= watts!!!!
I don&#039;t want to be anywhere near that thing! One slightly loose connection or corrosion and you have a bomb.
Better to have exchangeable batteries and lower recharge rates.</description>
