First of all, thanks for reading Calfinder Solar. 

I did not intend to imply that the ITC is available for owners of residential solar systems. It is an Investment tax credit that is only available to solar companies and/or developers to fund solar projects. Owners of residences must apply for a personal tax credit. 

Any sources I used are linked within the post. As for the item in question, check out the LA Times article linked in the sentence about SolarCity, who &quot;expects to add 16 crews.&quot;</description>
