I have an off grid 12 volt system with a Trace 1512 inverter, 6 Astro power 75 watt panels, a Trace charge controller, and six Trojan L-16's 6 volt batteries for an overall 12 volt system. Bought the heavy duty Trojan's this spring, but with all that capacity I can't get the batteries to fully charge without two of the batteries boiling and using water like crazy. I'll have to fill two of the batteries every day and still can't get more than 11.5-12.2 volts of charge. Are the two mentioned batteries faulty, and need to be replaced, or are these symptoms of other potential problems such as charging or charge controls? Any feedback would be appreciated.
