Solar pathway lights, garden lights and landscape lights are fairly interchangeable terms. You'll hear all three in reference to the same lighting design, which is typically a ground stake light that installs wirelessly in the soil along pathways.
Solar pathway lights provide safety and accent lighting without the need for wiring or professional installation. They can be used with involved landscaping schemes or in the lead up to entryways. Less expensive ground stake models are made with a plastic frame and stake, while sleeker models are typically made from stainless steel.
Concrete or paver pathways may also incorporate solar-powered pavers. These LED pavers provide flush or near-flush integration, achieving the height of aesthetic value in pathway lighting. They are definitely on the higher end in terms of cost, but provide a sense of elegance that stake lighting cannot match.
