Alabama is one of those states that don't make headlines much, but that doesn't mean it doesn't offer quiet beauty and a wealth of opportunities that compete with any other state. Real estate is quite affordable, and your money goes much farther than on the East or West Coasts. In case you're curious, here is a summary of the solar financial incentives offered to businesses and residents.
Loans
Production Incentives
For all else Alabama has to offer, the state basically has almost no solar incentives, and definitely no state incentives. It offers a number of incentives to encourage conserving energy, but has yet to get on board with a solar program. For the time being if you are interested in installing solar components on your property, financial assistance is limited. I guess you'll just have to use the money you saved on your real estate towards financing your own alternative energy!
